Why send to such a large list through a server? Well, if you send it through your own email account your provider might block it, thinking you might be spamming. Most email accounts allow a limited number of outgoing emails per day. Our own server allows a maximum of 500 emails an hour, although higher volumes are possible as an additionally paid service.

It is also important to send each message separately. No one likes to see they are but a small part of a large group of recipients, or see that their email address is visible to everyone else on the list. Therefore, your CV will be sent directly to each recipient separately, with your own Reply-to address. Not only will the recipient appreciate that you respect the privacy of their email (even BCC can be seen by some email programs), but by not sending many emails at once you also ensure that some email account providers do not mistake you for a spammer and block your message, as can often happen if you send to many recipients at once.

We use PHPlist, which is the most popular open source software for this purpose. It sends your message once every 7 seconds until the server’s capacity of 500 emails per hour is met, and then continues the next hour.

Our server also has its own IP address, which further ensures that none of the emails are considered as spam and guarantees delivery to each recipient.

All emails sent out always have an unsubscribe option, so you can be confident that every recipient is interested in receiving your CV.

The server will generate a report once done and which we will forward to you.
